Whiplash & Neck Pain
Back and neck pain may be caused by compression or damage to nerve roots resulting from a variety of possible causes. These include degeneration of the vertebral bone (the bone which protects the spinal cords), herniation of the gelatin-like disc between vertebrae, narrowing of the spinal column through which the spinal cord runs, or through trauma. With electromyography and electro-diagnostic (EMG/NCV) testing, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), our specialists are able to determine the cause and severity of the symptoms.

Depending on the test results, symptoms and lifestyle of the patient, we may take several different courses of action:
- Laser Therapy
- TNF-alpha and IL-1 blockers injections
- Steroid Injections
- Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Medications
- Rehabilitation
- Limited Surgery
- In extreme cases, where leg pain of the patient causes difficulty walking or standing, or limits daily activities, or when medication and physical therapy are ineffective, surgery is recommended.
